I used to believe the pre-trib position for many years, until a man named Marvin Rosenthal published a book I read that said the "rapture" would happen before God's wrath is poured out upon the earth somewhere in the middle of Daniel's 70th week. Now I hold to the position that those days of the "Great Tribulation Period" are to be shortened for the sake of the elect. Jesus told us that it will be AFTER the days of great tribulation that we will see the sign of the Son of God. Don't you remember the parable of the ten virgins? Five were wise and five were foolish. They all fell asleep and then the call was made that Christ was going to appear. The five wise virgins were caught up to meet the Lord, while the others were resurrected after the 1,000 year reign of Christ was over only to find the door of New Jerusalem would not be opened up for them.
